BATTLEBOWL SHOCKER: JOSHUA CUTSHALL WINS IT ALL & THE GOLDEN TICKET
Fans drew the matches, teammates and opponents completely at random tonight at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium. Winners advanced to an over the top rope battle royal with the last man standing earning the Golden Ticket and prize of any match, with any rules, against any opponents, of his choosing for up to one year.
1.) DIRTY DADDY def. JOEY ROGERS in singles action with both participants drawn at random by the fans
2.) BEAU CROCKETT & #REAL JOSHUA CUTSHALL def. Rising Generation League Champion JESSE ADLER & JAMES RYAN *AND* LABRON KOZONE in tag-team action. James Ryan’s name was drawn in the lottery but Ryan and partner Kozone informed the crowd that the team of “Labron James” were 1 unit together. Their opponents agreed to the impromptu 3 on 2.
3.) Worldwide Television Champion SMITH GARRETT def. the returning DARIUS LOCKHART to retain the championship after Lockhart’s name was drawn by the fans.
4.) Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions “ACE” ARIK ROYAL and “ASSASSIN” RAY KANDRACK def. TRACER X and ETHAN ALEXANDER SHARPE in a bout where both title challengers were drawn at random by the fans.
5.) Team Captain CHET STERLING, NICK RICHARDS, “HANDSOME” MITCH CONNOR and NUMBER MAN def. Team Captain ARIC ANDREWS, “WHITE” MIKE JORDAN, KAMAKAZI KID and CECIL SCOTT in the annual Battlebowl 8 man tag-team bout which saw fans pick the teammates for each captain at random. DONNIE DOLLARS name was initially drawn for Sterling’s team but when Dollars failed to appear Ethan Alexander Sharpe verbally berated the absent Dollars and offered Number Man as a substitute. Perennial rivals Richards and Kazi never crossed paths in the match itself but had to be pulled apart in a wild scene brawling on the floor after the bout’s conclusion. Richards had earned the right to name the stipulations for their final match-up after winning the scientific wrestling match two weeks ago and did so, calling for a Last Man Standing Match on Saturday June 18th at Absolute Justice.
6.) #REAL JOSHUA CUTSHALL eliminated Worldwide Television Champion SMITH GARRETT to win the Battlebowl battle royal featuring the winners from all the lottery match and thus earn the Golden Ticket. It came down to Sterling, Garrett and Cutshall with Cutshall capitalizing on attempted interference from Aric Andrews to win it all. After the bout, Garrett gave an impassioned speech about how Sterling and Andrews have both been circling Garrett for months and offered to end things once and for all by defending against BOTH challengers on Saturday June 18th at Absolute Justice.
7.) SNOOTY FOXX, MECHA MERCENARY and AARON BIGGS def. the Moneyball team of OTTO and the DAWSON BROTHERS in a “Golden Opportunity” six man tag-team bout when Mecha pinned Otto. The winning team all got to name their matches for Absolute Justice with Snooty calling for a one-on-one match against the Moneyball leader Ethan Alexander Sharpe and Biggs calling out Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions Royal and Kandrack saying that since he never got to hold the championships with longtime partner Chris Lea, who better to finally go after them with than the monstrous Mecha against whom he had his first professional bouts. Royal and Kandrack accepted and the biggest tag-team title match of all time is set for Absolute Justice.
