C.W. ANDERSON VS. RIC CONVERSE FOR THE PWI CHAMPIONSHIP ON FRI DEC 30

Back in May, Pro Wrestling International Heavyweight Champion Ric Converse defended against decorated international star C.W. Anderson at a charity event in Burlington, North Carolina. Converse retained the title but Anderson attacked the champion and referee Redd Jones after the bell and vowed there would be a return match.

All summer long, Anderson and Converse went back and forth on social media with Anderson, a veteran of over 75 tours of Japan, questioning Converse’s international credentials.

It all came to a head at October’s CWF Rumble when Converse invited Anderson into the Sportatorium for the first time to meet face to face. A wild brawl broke out that saw Converse injured and Anderson escape with the PWI championship in his grasp.

The two have not been face to face since that night, although Anderson has continued to mock Converse on social media and at independent events all over the region, where Anderson has carried the PWI championship and insisted on being introduced as champion.

Now at Converse’s urging, they settle things once and for all at our annual super card with the title on the line! The world renowned “Rottweiler” makes his first in-ring appearance EVER inside the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium.

Fans are absolutely encouraged to get their tickets at http://cwf247.ecwid.com early to avoid a sell out and make your plans NOW to join us on Friday December 30 for Battlecade!
