FORMER TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONS CAPTAIN TEAMS IN THIS YEAR’S TORNEO CIBERNETICO

ROY WILKINS and WALTER EATON, collectively known as The Goon Squad, are arguably the greatest tag-team in CWF Mid-Atlantic history. They are certainly the most successful, with 3 reigns as Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions totaling over 300 days between October 2011 and June 2013.

Recent events however have put them at odds with Eaton returning from nearly a year on the shelf after a broken arm feeling Coach Gemini has made a joke of Wilkins and a joke of the All Stars in his absence. He asked Wilkins to make a choice and Wilkins sided with Coach, effectively ending perhaps the greatest partnership in CWF Mid-Atlantic history.

Now the former champions will each captain a squad in the 8 on 8 Torneo Cibernetico at Ultimate Survivor THIS Friday night! Each captain puts his team into a batting order and you can only tag the next man in your team’s line-up. Eliminations can occur at any time by pinfall, submission or disqualification and one rule that is unique of the Cibernetico is this battle continues until there is 1 sole survivor, meaning once an entire team is eliminated, the winning team must split up and fight it out til there is 1 sole survivor.

This year that sole survivor will earn the Golden Ticket and ANY match of their choice, with any opponents, any rules and ANY stipulations.

Coach Gemini has already beefed up his team, recruiting the maniacal Otto Schwanz and Soviet strangler Vlad Balashov for Wilkins’ team. Word through the grape vine is that Eaton has been calling old friends looking to form a team of veterans he’s shared the ring with throughout his 15-year career.

Be there THIS Friday night for ALL the action of Ultimate Survivor including the Torneo Cibernetico, Triathlon Survivor Match and much more!
