RESULTS FROM A WILD AND WINDING ROAD TO BATTLECADE 16

#CWFworldwide SPOILERS & results from Road to Battlecade 16

1.) MICHAEL MCALLISTER & “SIS” def. GIL QUEST & C.B. SUAVE when Quest was pinned after Suave never tagged in.

2.) Rising Generation League Champion JESSE ADLER def. ETHAN ALEXANDER SHARPE in an RGL Tournament Semi-FInal Match to advance to the title match at Battlecade. After the bout, Sharpe said he was mentally distracted because he was already thinking about winning the Ultra J Championship from Ethan Case and challenged Case to a match for Battlecade 16.

3.) DAVE DAWSON & PWI Heavyweight Champion ZANE DAWSON def MARK JAMES & JIMMY PARKER the BRUTES. After the bout, the Dawsons attempted to attack PWI official William L. Cross until RIC CONVERSE intervened. Converse said that for years, CWF Mid-Atlantic had been his but in his absence this past year, Converse saw that CWF was in good hands with the likes of Arik Royal, Brad Attitude and Trevor Lee. Converse then challenged Zane for the Pro Wrestling International Heavyweight Championship at Battlecade.

4.) SMITH GARRETT def. DARIUS LOCKHART with Garrett’s Battlecade Television Title shot against CEDRIC ALEXANDER on the line.

5.) ARIK ROYAL & RAY KANDRACK def. Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions TREVOR LEE & CHET STERLING to win the titles in an amazing match of the year candidate.

6.) ARIC ANDREWS VS. NICK RICHARDS was thrown out after LEE VALIANT attacked Richards and Andrews punched the referee. This continued until EVAN BANKS made the save and both Andrews vs. Banks and Richards vs. Valiant were made official for Battlecade.

7.) Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion BRAD ATTITUDE def. 2015 Weaver Cup Tournament Champion ROY WILKINS to retain the title. Wilkins had cashed in his guaranteed title shot after attacking Attitude, looking to recreate the scene where Attitude first lost the title several months ago.

After the bout, Attitude said that the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship was the measuring stick for who is the best professional wrestler in the region and there has never been more competition for that spot. With that in mind, Attitude offered to defend against the top 5 challengers at 1 time in 1 match at Battlecade 16 in a Six Pack Challenge elimination match until only 1 man was left standing at the end with the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship.
