JOIN US ON THE ROAD TO BATTLECADE THIS SAT DEC 5
It’s the second-to-last event of the year as match-ups will be made, alliances formed and tensions rise on the road to our anniversary extravaganza!
New 2-time Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion BRAD ATTITUDE will be in the house but so will former champ MARCELLUS KING and 2015 Johnny Weaver Cup Tournament champion ROY WILKINS, who are among the MANY actively petitioning CWF management for the elusive shot at the title in the Battlecade main event.
Tag-Team Dream Match # 1 For the Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Championship: TREVOR LEE & CHET STERLING VS. ARIK ROYAL & RAY KANDRACK This huge match up comes on the heels of Ultimate Survivor where Royal, Kandrack, Connor and Nick Richards crushed the Riot inside Cage of Death and where Trevor Lee was joined by Sterling, Jesse Adler, Hurricane Helms and Matt Hardy in putting down the All Stars. But this Saturday night these two are in a first time ever 2 on 2 tag match pitting the striking and finesse of Trevor Lee and the heart of Chet Sterling against the brute force of Ray Kandrack and the onslaught of Arik Royal!
Tag-Team Dream Match # 2 DAVE DAWSON & PWI Champion ZANE DAWSON VS. MARK JAMES & JIMMY PARKER, THE BRUTES This one is gonna be a fight, plain and simple. Two of the absolute toughest tag-teams on the circuit today duke it out just 3 weeks before our anniversary super card where a win by the Brutes could throw a Pro Wrestling International Heavyweight Title shot their way on the big event!
NICK RICHARDS VS. ARIC ANDREWS We’ve heard NOTHING out of Richards, Andrews or Lee Valiant since the Riot imploded inside a steel cage at Ultimate Survivor. Now these 2 former teammates go 1 on 1 at the Road to Battlecade after both spilled blood in the final fall of Cage of Death. What will be the fall out from Cage of Death where Richards sided against the Riot and Valiant was shaved bald.
DARIUS LOCKHART VS. SMITH GARRETT These two have been rivals for months ever since Lockhart mocked Garrett’s career-threatening injury. They’ve done battle before but after both turned heads at WrestleCade and PWX last weekend, they’ll go at it once more this Saturday night with opportunities at Battlecade hanging in the balance!
And just what role, if any, will exiled former Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion RIC CONVERSE play on our anniversary super card in 3 weeks?! Will this be the first time since 2002 that Converse opts not to participate in the event that he’s headlined more times than anyone else?!
Plus Rising Generation League Champion JESSE ADLER, obnoxious ETHAN ALEXANDER SHARPE, maniacal MICHAEL McALLISTER and much more this Saturday night when CWF Mid-Atlantic presents Road to Battlecade 16!
Tickets available now at http://cwf247.ecwid.com/ for just $10 in advance or opt for the $25 VIP option with unlimited food and drink from our concession stand.
